Spanish Gardens Pozole Chili
A twist on a classic pozole, but just as delicious as the original! This recipe was sent in by one of our favorite people in the world, who prefers to be anonymous.
Ingredients:
1 lb. pork or turkey sausage
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
2 cloves crushed garlic
2 cans of chicken broth
1 can of Rotel (or any brand of diced tomatoes and green chiles)
1 can of golden hominy, rinsed and drained
1 can of black beans, rinsed and drained
1 cup frozen hash brown potatoes
1 1/2 tbsp of Spanish Gardens Taco Seasoning
Instructions:
Cook the sausage with the onion, bell pepper, and garlic until no pink remains in the sausage. Add everything else and simmer for 30 minutes.
Good alone or serve with Spanish Gardens tortilla chips and your favorite toppings if desired.
